This was a big week for independent filmmakers. Like so many other producers and directors, team Common Ground put on their winter coats and snow boots and traveled to Utah for the acclaimed Sundance Film Festival. We partnered with FoodTank for the screening of Common Ground as part of the“Food and the Environment” summit. We were overwhelmed by the response. The screening venue had less than 200 seats and we had almost 1,000 people on the waitlist!
We were so thrilled to run in to Illinois-based regenerative farmers on the street in Utah who imparted us with some of their first-experience wisdom! We couldn’t agree more with what they believe in…
“If we want a future for our son, it’s gotta start there, and it’s gotta start now.”
“When you change [to regenerative agriculture] you’re actually changing us all for the better. If we keep going the way we are and we keep degrading we will have nothing left.”
